Got here in the lemon Friday, p.m. Went to Grasse perfume factories yesterday morning – have got Babs a bottle, & a barrel for Winkle when you have used contents. This is distant view of Cannes as you see it from the coast road along the Corniche d’Or around foot of the Esterel. Today is as hot as early June chez nous, & I’ve shed all my winter garments! Am just starting for Nice & Monte Carlo with American party. Have been recalled, & got to go back tomorrow.
