Monday evening, Felmersham
Darling Johnnie Just a short note to let you know we got home in good order this afternoon. There was no trouble in fetching the bike (tho' alas no lift along the road). The house & content are intact and we have got about 4 pints of milk to our credit. Your letter was waiting here, I don't think the section on finance was so terrible. Anyway I think we understand each other on the subject really. It was a lovely weekend, darling, our times together seem to get better & better.
All my love dear, I'll be writing again tomorrow. Yours always, Ursula
