Dear Mum Pat & Vincent. The pass [sic] week has been extra good, with plenty of Sunshine, Entertainments and subjects to discuss. May 31st being “Union Day”, the South African element in the Camp put on a Zulu War Dance with full dress, or should I say fully un-dressed. No mail received from England yet. Wrote Haughton’s regarding job after War. Jim.
