Dear Air Commodore,
Enquiries have been made as a result of your ACHS/DO/122 dated 28th May, 1944, regarding Squadron Leader Campbell and Flight Lieutenant Fleming and the position is as follows:-
[underlined] Squadron Leader Campbell [/underlined]
Finished operations March, 1944. He, therefore, cannot return to operations for at least 18 months and furthermore No. 92 Group are not prepared to release him.
[underlined] Flight Lieutenant Fleming [/underlined]
No. 92 Group have already offered him to Headquarters Bomber Command for early absorption in the Mosquito Training Unit.
