Dear
I am sorry to trouble you but when the Squadron arrived at Coningsby they brought with them 20 electro plated tankards which were inscribed “617 Squadron Lancasters”. They were presented by the manufacturers of the aircraft after the Dam raid and have considerable sentimental value.
When we finally counted them up prior to leaving Coningsby for Woodhall, it was found there were only 15, and I would very much appreciate it if you could take action from your end.
Yours
