THE COUNTY HOTEL,
MALVERN.

Dear Wing Commander Cheshire
I would so much like to try and tell you how your letter has helped me, it was so very kind of you to write when I know how busy you are – I know the expression perfect husband has often been used, but Tommie was perfect – It comforts me to know he died with his boys, he thought the world of them, and only in his last letter he told me how happy he was – Will you please
[page break]
thank them all for me very much
Yours sincerely
