Dear Willy,
Browned off with writing letters, & I expect you are with reading them. Anyway it really is very magnificent. I went over to get a horse from Bundy the other day; the poor man seemed a bit hard up – his stables are only a spare-time hobby now – but I had a very pleasant jog round the part of Steven Castle that is not ploughed up. Hope to get over to see Collins later. [underlined] Don't /underlined] bother to answer. Hope [indecipherable words] will atone for brevity. [two indecipherable words]
[written vertically at side] P.S. Am just going to see “Merry Widow”. Heil Hitler!
