Title
Statement of Gennarina Cecconi about some Allied servicemen
Description
Gennarina Cecconi claims she helped, for two weeks starting from 24 September, two English servicemen who escaped from a camp in Modena. They eventually reached the the village of Prunetta, in the mountains near Pistoia. With the help of Carlo Ducceschi, Gennarina brought them to Nesti’s house, where they were given shelter food and clothes. For her efforts, she received a certificate of thankfulness.
