Bravery awards to Robert Stott's crew

Awarded for bringing a badly damaged Lancaster and seriously wounded crew back from an operation on Hanover. ENTIRE LANCASTER CREW DECORATED
By the decoration of three airman announced by the Air Ministry last night, the entire crew of a Lancaster Bomber have been honoured. They brought back their badly damaged plane from Hanover.
Yesterday’s awards were to Flying Officer A. W. Gadd (Gosport), D.F.C., and Sergeants K.N. Hicklin (Hounslow) and R. Stott (Falkirk), D.F.M. The other members of the crew – Pilot Officer A. J.S.
