Ma Cherie,
Pardoney [sic] moi mais j’ai [sic] been to une Class francais ce soir.
Well what [corrected] do [/corrected] you think the wire was that I worried about all last night? Well if you will look at the enclosed you will see and that accounts for a phase in your letter that I could not understand. Apparently it [corrected] had [/corrected] reached the Warrington area. So I am sending this letter to the same address IE [corrected] addressing [/corrected] it exactly the same, to see what happens. If you get this OK enclose the Enollope [sic] (& the telegram?) in a letter to the Post master because I want my 9d back. I phoned the wire and the girl repeated it correctly
I addressed it to Stevens to avoid any possible mistake because there is or was another Wynn somewhere about there
[page break]
I have not yet heard from Wyrley & have you written to Aunt Jessie yet?
I will do so sometime over the week end Well my love I must close now with all love to you & the “Lads” & hope that you soon OK again
All My love
Yours always
Ian.
