433 Squadron was a Canadian squadron formed at RAF Skipton on Swale in September 1943. It flew Halifaxes as part of the Canadian 6 Group. It became operational in January 1944 and continued with Halifaxes until January 1945 when it converted to Canadian-built Lancasters for the final few months of the war.
