A specification is received the air ministry for a modification to be made to the Lancaster. The communication goes first to Roy Chadwick, director and chief designer of A V Roe & Co. Captioned 'The chief designer and assistant designers have a conference with air ministry official. Men with bombing experience are called in too from British and allied forces.
