Stuttgart had two attacks within 4 ½ hours.

Significantly, soon after noon to-day, Lancasters of Bomber Command bombed enemy gun positions on the island of Walcheren near Flushing.
R.A.F. and Czech Spitfires provided a fighter umbrella during the attack.
There was some flak opposition, but no enemy fighters were encountered.
Returning crews said that very few fields had escaped flooding and in the south of the island in particular houses and trees stood out above great sheets of water.
