A MEMENTO OF Training Days during the War for WORLD LIBERTY
AIR-FORCEFUL CARTOONS
DRAWN AND PUBLISHED BY E.B. SCHOLES
1/6
[Cartoon with RAF Moto]
[page break]
[Plane Cartoon]
FORWARD BY GROUP- G. T. H. PACK
IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT IN TIMES OF STRESS the retention of a sense of humour is important; and on these grounds alone I welcome the Artist’s Cartoons in this book as a contribution to the lighter side of war-time training. These cartoons illustrate some of the humorous aspects inevitably bound up in the initiation of lay minds into the manifold technicalities involved in the overhaul and maintenance of aircraft.
This publication should be an interesting memento of an airman’s training “somewhere in England.”
I wish it every success.
