Pathfinders open the attack at Z-5 with sticks of illuminating flares and with Green TI. The A.P will then be marked with [deleted flares [underlined] Red with Yellow [/deleted] stars [/underlined] large salvoes mixed TI. Green & Red & kept marked with T.I. Red.

Main Force A/C arriving early in attack should aim their bomb at the large salvoes of mixed Red & Green TI. if visible – otherwise aim at centre of all TI. Red. Crews to be specially warned to avoid the Decoy Red T [missing letters] which are weaker & burn for a shorter time than genuine T.I.

If [underlined] cloud obscures [/underlined] Aim at Red/Yellow stars heading 190 M.
