My dear Mummy and Daddy.

I hope you are quite well and happy. I am quite well and happy and so is Steve except for one thing and that is that Miss Shellfenten keeps me in all my play time to do music and so I jumet [sic] out of the window and she is only trying to get me a caning every day I have to stay behind and and [sic] keep on playing the panoe [sic] and all my playtime goes. I am ending
