RAF Bircotes (originally known as RAF Bawtry) was a Bomber Command training station located in South Yorkshire 8 miles south east from Doncaster. It is immediately west of the village of Bawtry, close to the borders with Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

RAF Bircotes was originally known as RAF Bawtry and opened in November 1941. The station was renamed RAF Bircotes in April 1942 to avoid confusion with the headquarters of 1 Group in the immediately adjacent Bawtry Hall, also known as RAF Bawtry. RAF Bircotes was a satellite to nearby RAF Finningley and used by a succession of operational training units; 25 OTU, 18 OTU, 28 OTU and 82 OTU. Also using RAF Bircotes was the communications flight for 1 Group as well as 16 Flying Training School. Aircraft flown from the station included Ansons, Wellingtons, Manchesters, Oxfords, Martinets, Lysanders and P-40s.
