RAF Jurby was a training and operational station located in the north west of the Isle of Man.

Opened in 1939 the first occupants were 5 Air Observers School and 5 Bombing and Gunnery School. Aircraft used included Heyfords, Henleys, Wallaces, Battles, Blenheims and, later Whitleys, Hampdens, Herefords, Lysanders and Ansons. 10 Operational Training Unit had a detachment at RAF Jurby. During 1940 and 1941 fighter squadrons with Defiants and Hurricanes were stationed there to defend Belfast and Liverpool. Spitfires were later used. Later in the war the training units were renamed 5 Air Navigation and Bombing School and 5 Air Navigation School flying Wellingtons and Ansons. The station closed in 1963.
