27 flight engineers in half caps and desert uniform arranged in rows around a wooden barrel which is marked 'Aqir XXX'. Four men crouch either side of the barrel with one row of eight men sat behind and two rows of eight and six men standing in the rear. There is a utility post and single storey buildings behind with domed corrugated roofs. Annotated on the reverse 'outside the section 620 flight engineers Aqir July 21st 1946'.
