Serviceman's made bed with various pairs of shoes and boots underneath. Sergeant's greatcoat and trousers hanging from the window. The window having floor length net curtains knotted at the base. Cupboard between the window and bed with table lamp with a bare bulb and a book. In foreground is a table with a checked material cover with two small drawers to the left side.
