Badly damaged fuselage of Halifax Mk 3 NA 698 coded 7C-D; men’s legs and a static line are visible protruding from the bottom of the fuselage. This is the aircraft that Women's Auxiliary Air Force officer, Rosemary Britton stowed away in during Operation Varsity.
