Dear Vic,
I was unable to ring you up as I promised when I saw you last because while I was at home for the week-end I caught a cold and didn't return till the Thursday.
When I did ring up you were on leave so I was unable to fix up anything. Can you drop me a line when it is convenient
[page break]
for you to meet me? any time after Monday week will do, as I am off to Driffield on a Bat-course on Saturday.
Hope you are keeping out of trouble and that we can arrange an evening together before long.
Best of luck,
Cheerio.
John Meredith.
