No 4 Devonshire Road, Birkenhead

Two colour photographs of the Christian family home in the 1920s, captioned 'This was the Christian family home in the 1920's and location of the family motor business. After Arnold joined the RAF and no longer played a part in the business his elder sister Vera (and he husband Geoffrey Bolton) ran the business as Bolton's Grey Cabs. It was from this house that Arnold married Catherine in St Mark's Church - (located 200 yards to the left of the house but now demolished) - on 27th September 1932'.
