I have the honour to submit the following application for secondment to British Overseas Airway Corp. under the conditions given in A.M.O. A. 557/45.
The details of my service career are as follows:-
Total flying hours. 1670
Total 4 Engine hours (Halifax & Lancaster) 1320
Comprising both Hercules & Merlin engine experience.
Tour of operations – one. (Whitley and Halifax).
Category as Flying Instructor – A.2.
Educational Standard. – School Certificate. – 1936.
Health – Fit full flying duties.
Date of Birth. 3.8.1920.
I consider that British Overseas Airways Corporation present a suitable opening for Civil Airways, and respectfully request that this application should meet with your approval and recommendation.
