Description

Two versions of the same strip (b/w and colour) with enlargements of all slides.
Slide 1 - captioned 'Easton Lodge 1945 October'. Large three story house covered in ivy with bay windows and tower and turret at right end. In front ornamental trees.
Slide 2 - captioned 'Hunting lodge, used to brew-up by ground staff at close by dispergace'. Small hut with p=steep pitched roof surrounded by trees.
Slide 3 - captioned 'visiting old station 9 years later, army trucks now fill bunkways'. View over part of an airfield with signal square in the foreground and runway in the distance.
Slide 4 - captioned 'Noel Chaffey sporting first seen badge of 620 Squadron on main Great Dunmore runway'. A man standing in the middle of a runway wearing a blazer with a squadron badge.
