RAF Llandwrog was located in Gwynedd in Wales, 4 miles (6 kms) south-west of Caernarfon.

The station opened in January 1941 and was used to train air gunners, wireless operators and navigators for Bomber Command with Whitleys, Ansons and Oxfords. In 1942 the Air Gunnery School was closed and the station used by 9 (Observers) Advanced Flying Unit until June 1945. The site is now Caernarfon Airport.
