Dear Mrs Cahir, Some days ago an officer on Jim’s squadron arrived here & informed me that Jim & crew with exception of Pat, were reported PoW. Altho’[sic] you may have heard from Air Board I thought I would let you know how pleased I am – it is good news. Tell Jim I am still chasing the blighter but just cant[sic] catch him, but I will see if I can’t bring him home with me. Convey my best wishes to Jim in your next letter. Regards to Pat, Vince & you. MeDes.
