Sir,
I have recently heard that you have returned to operations, and I wish to know I you have a vacancy for a Wireless Operator on the Squadron.
I had the pleasure of being under your command at Linton-on-Ouse until April 1943, when I was posted to Melbourne.
I have recently returned to this Squadron after a walking tour on the Continent and I am now a ‘spare body’.
Therefore, if you have a vacancy Sir, would you please inform me.
I have the honour to be
Sir,
Your obedient Servant
