Dear Isabel,
I am glad to be able to tell you that I managed to get a pass last week end and I met your cousin Bill. I was staying at the Hallidays house and on Saturday evening Dr. Halliday helped me to get in touch with Bill in the barracks officers' mess. We arranged that he would collect me on Sunday when I came out of Church. He did so and we went in his big Chevrolet sedan to meet some friends of his and also paid a visit to big military parade held here in honour of Allied Sunday. Unfortunately he had to be back on duty at 1800 so we had only about 6 hours together. However, I hope to see him again before I leave here. Nora's brother expects to move south to Flying School at the end of next week sometime but he does not know yet where he is going. I have received the 3 Flights posted 28/4 and a letter from mother dated 27/4 so I hope there are some more around from you. I have read the ones I have received over and over again. Bill showed me your 1/5 letter to him so congratulations to Tommy. Very interested in the WAAF situation and your calling up.
Yours, Andy.
