From Andrew to Isabel
Title
From Andrew to Isabel
Description
An aerogram written from Andrew training in South Africa. Comments on lack of letters, that he has had a tooth removed and moved huts. He has been studying quite hard, helped by a good library at the camp, and there are film shows three times a week.

Dear Isabel,
Once again I have to report with a little disappointment that there are no letters from you this week. I know you will have written plenty but they have either been lost or are still on the way. Despite this I have managed to write a number of pages in my weekly letter this week. Life here continues to be very interesting and very enjoyable except for a day or two when I could hardly eat because I had a tooth taken out. Fortunately it does not alter my appearance as it is towards the back but I did not enjoy the experience even though it was painless. I have not been out of camp this week but mainly studying, reading and writing. There is a good camp library and I am keeping at my writing though the time available is getting shorter as the studying increases. There is a good little camp cinema which gives shows twice a week on Wednesdays & Sundays at the modest price of 6' and bring your own cushions. I have now changed into another hut next door beside Harold Armstrong and Jerry Bolter my class mates. Missing you as much as ever.
Yours Andy.
