Ernesta Bassetti claims she helped, from 10 September 1943 to 20 September 1943, seven allied prisoners of war, giving them food, clothes and pocket money, in Crocicchio area, near the village of Striglianella (Pistoia). On 24 December they moved to Migliana, in the municipality of Prato, and then they were recaptured in Cantagallo (Prato) by nazi-fascist militiamen.
