Angiolo Innocenti claims he helped, from 10 September 1943 to 15 December 1943, eight English prisoners of war, giving them food, clothes, and tobacco. On 15 December they moved to Florence and were hosted by some Florentine families. For his efforts, he received a certificate of thankfulness (number 83224-41980).
