Description
Quintilio Vannucci claims he helped, from 26 September 1943 to 24 December 1943, seven allied prisoners of war, giving them food, shelter, and clothes, in the Palure area, near the village of Tobbiana (Pistoia). On 24 December they were recaptured by nazi-fascist militiamen in Cantagallo (Prato). For his efforts, he received a certificate of thankfulness (number 83254-24670).
