Statement of Luigi Lorenzini about some Allied servicemen
Title
Statement of Luigi Lorenzini about some Allied servicemen
Description
Luigi Lorenzini claims he helped, from 12 September 1943 to 8 December 1943, seven English prisoners of war, giving them food, shelter and clothes. He also took one of them to Doctor Butelli to treat a hand. On 8 December, they were probably recaptured in Cantagallo (Prato) by nazi-fascist militiamen. For his efforts he received a certificate of thankfulness (number 83239-41955).
