Statement of Giovanna Zini about some Allied servicemen
Title
Statement of Giovanna Zini about some Allied servicemen
Description
Giovanna Zini claims she helped, with her husband, thirteen allied prisoners of war from 20 September 1943 to 5 November 1943, bringing them food, cigarettes, clothes, and pocket money. The men were hiding in the mountains. During this period, some fascist militiamen captured her husband and imprisoned him for fifteen days. Sadly, he got sick and died. On 5 November, the prisoners moved away to escape from German soldiers and fascist militiamen.
