Olinto Meoni claims he helped, from September 1943 to November 1943, some allied prisoners of war in the Lavacchioni and Vallone areas, near Pistoia. He was a shoemaker and repaired men' shoes; his wife Alberta Lucchesi brought them food, and clothes. For his efforts, he received a certificate of thankfulness (number 83227-41977).
