Title

Statement of Nara Baldi, Gina Bigagli, Anna Bonaccorsi, and Lilia Capecchi about some Allied servicemen

Description

Nara Baldi, Gina Bigagli, Anna Bonaccorsi, and Lilia Capecchi claim they helped, from 10 September 1943 to 22 October 1943, four English prisoners of war in the village of Cantagrillo, near Pistoia. At first, they hid in Livia Gori’s kiln, and then they moved in the woods, where the four women brought them food, clothes, and cigarettes. On 22 October, the prisoners were recaptured during a round-up in the village of Porciano, in the municipality of Lamporecchio (Pistoia).
