“BRITAIN FIRST”
“Britain First,” generally known in flying circles as the Rothermere Bomber, which was referred to by Sir Philip Sassoon, Under-Secretary for Air, in the House of Commons last night. It was built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company to the specifications of Viscount Rothermere, and was presented by him to the Royal Air Force on behalf of “The Daily Mail” so that this country should possess a fast weight-carrying plane outrivalling those of the United States, Germany, France and Italy.
