692 Squadron was formed at RAF Graveley with Mosquitos in January 1944 as part of 8 Group. It was part of the Light Night Striking Force and the first Mosquito squadron to carry the 4,000lb bomb. The squadron transferred to RAF Gransden Lodge in July 1944 where it stayed until the end of the war.Refinements:
