614 Squadron [entry point]
Description
From 1939 to November 1942, 614 Squadron served in an Army co-operation role with Lysanders and Blenheims. The squadron moved to North Africa in November 1942 with its Blenheims until February 1944 when it re-equipped with Halifaxes and B-24s in a heavy bombing role in 205 Group in Italy and the Balkans.
