Description

Nine items. The collection concerns Sergeant Leslie Mellor Tetley (1920 - 1942, 545586 Royal Air Force) and contains photographs, a newspaper cutting and correspondence. Leslie Mellor Tetley was an air gunner with 142 Squadron flying Wellingtons from RAF Grimsby. He was killed on an operation to Kassel in August 1942 and is buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery in Germany.
