Heavies Bomb Munich
Allied air offensive against Germany continued to-day. This afternoon squadrons of R.A.F. fighters, including Spitfires, streaked out across the Straits of Dover. An earlier procession of Lancasters had bombed Munich and objectives in Western Germany before daybreak.
Early this morning when it was still dark a force of Lancasters of R.A.F. Bomber Command made a concentrated attack on Munich.
One of our aircraft is missing.
