My darling Daddy
We both arrived safely. It is not as cold as I thought it would be. We have both been put up to Form II Stevie has been put up to my Dormitory, so we are both together. Stevie got sick in the toy train again. I [deleted]h[/deleted] hope [indecipherable word] little pompom is alright. Mr. & Mrs. [indecipherable name] met us at [indecipherable word] and send you their love. I am ending now, and will write soon [indecipherable word]. with love from your loving son David.
