Dear mother,

Just a few lines in answer to your letter received this morning, we have the day to ourselves as I am writing whilst I have the chance. Glad to hear that you are all keeping in good health as it leaves me the same & you will be glad to hear that I have now got my dentures, I got them a week ago yesterday & feel quite used to them now.
