DOWNING. – On February 10, near Lincoln, England (result of accident on non-operational flight), Flying-Officer Jeffrey John, loved son of Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Downing, of Kyneton, and brother of Mary, Pat, and Peter.
LACE. – On February 10, 26907 Cpl. John Mitchell Lace (R.A.A.F.), in Dutch East Indies, beloved husband of Phyllis, aged 28 years. – For ever I’ll remember.
PARKER. – On February 6, killed in action, TX11223 Pte. Willis James (Bill), loved son of Dr. and Mrs. G.M. Parker. Bellerive, Tasmania.
