[underlined] PILOT [/underlined] In Pilot’s seat at Controls. Sutton Harness secured. On I/C to F/E and R/C. (2)

[underlined] FLIGHT ENGINEER [/underlined] Lying on Back on Rest Bed, with Safety Belt secured across chest, one hand at Release Catch, one arm protecting face. Back of head is pressed on Back rest. Feet braced against bulkhead, left foot towards Port Side, Right towards Hinge and knees well flexed. On I/C to Pilot.

[underlined] NAVIGATOR [/underlined] Seated on floor centrally in Rest Bed Compartment. Whole of back to Bulkhead door. Hands clasped at back of neck at ear Feet braced as convenient. (3)

[underlined] WIRELESS OPERATOR [/underlined] Seated on floor to the Starboard in Rest Bed Compartment. Whole of Back to bulkhead door. Hands clasped at back on neck at ears. Feet braced as convenient. (4)

[underlined] M/U GUNNER [/underlined] Lying on Back on floor to Starboard. Left Arm about Rear Gunner’s neck (firmly), Right Hand against fuselage side. Feet to Flapjack, knees well flexed.
