Junkers JU 388. Stortebeker.
The JU 388 was designed as a bomber & night fighter, & was the last of the JU 88 series to reach the production stage. It was test flown in 1943 and was included in the restricted production programme which was in force when hostilities ended. The JU 388 was given the code name Stortebeker. Powered bt [sic] two BMW 801TJ or Jumo 213E or Jumo 222E/F engines. Max speed 402mph.
