Once again I report all well, in fact I can’t say I have ever felt better; I hope you are all well at home. Many Happy returns of your Birthday Paddy! By the way how is Army Life treating you, I hope you have put on those two stones that you always wanted to. During the week, I went to hear a Dance Band Recital in our Camp Theatre, it was extra good, the only thing missing to make it look like a Civilian show was the absence of the fairer sex. The Band was composed of fellow prisoners. Last week I dropped a line to Spike; talking about letters did you receive my other three letters and one PostCard? The Red Cross Parcels are still rolling in by now I have become an expert cook and I serve up some most tasty dishes. Today I just finished making a set of eating dishes out of jam tins, unfortunately they only last about a month and you have to start in and make another lot. Well that seems to be the lot at present, don’t worry over me. God Bless you, Jim.
