Top centre a photograph of twelve pilots in two rows labelled 'Back row: Flt Lt Townsend, Flt Lt McCarthy, Flt Lt Wilson, Wg Cdr Gibson, Flt Lt Munro, Flt Lt Maltby, Flt Sgt Brown, Front Row: Flt Sgt Anderson, P/O Rice, Flt Lt Martin, Flt Lt Shannon, P/O Knight'. Left hand side in three rows the pilot's brevet, medal ribbons and plaque with name and aircraft for Sir Harold Martin, Flt Lt Geoff Rice and Squadron Leader Les Munro RNAF, left centre medals and name plaque for Squadron Leader David Maltby and name plaque for Flt Lt H S Wilson (lost on Sept 14 1942 during attack on Dortmund-Ems Canal).
