Master Bomber will give aiming instructions with reference to “Pickwick” which is the centre of the upwind edge of the smoke.

A longstop using callsign “BLACKLEG” may call on the master bombers frequency to correct any bombing or marking errors.

He will also drop yellow smoke bombs bursting at 1500’ to cancel [underlined] misplaced TI’s or inaccurate bombing. [/underlined]

Yellow smoke may also be used by the army to indicate the presence of our own troops.

Not to release bombs unless:-

Can see the markers.
Positively identify the Δ visually.
Positively identify the smoke concentration as being in correct place.
